This past Friday was The Last Drive-In's THIRD Christmas special & it's one that will be hard to beat! They featured two, AMAZING, Holiday horror films, & I, once again, created pieces of art during the screenings following my #TheLastDrawIn hashtag.
The first movie of the night was DEADLY GAMES aka DIAL CODE SANTA CLAUS aka GAME OVER aka HIDE & FREAK aka...okay, we get it, it had A LOT of different names, but that doesn't take away that this film RULES! The second in the double feature was the classic, CHRISTMAS EVIL, featuring the amazing acting chops from Fiona Apple's dad! Here are the two, watercolor/ink pieces I created while watching these badass movies:
Since creating The Last Draw-In at the beginning of season 1 of The Last Drive-In, I've been blown away by how it's taken off & how the amazing artists in the horror community have embraced it & have created some MASTERPIECES under it's banner! I'm looking forward to seeing this little creation of mine continue to grow into the beast it's becoming & all of the outstanding art that will come from it!
Again, here are all 36 paintings I created while watching all 36 films from the two seasons of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder. (They are all currently available in my online shop as well) I can't wait for many, many more seasons & specials ahead!
